Learn how to install your sensor guards today to avoid sticky dispensers! Begin by removing the valve ID panel by sliding it face up and off the valve. Next, loosen the cover screw and remove the valve cover, along with the nozzle and diffuser. Then, remove the six screws to take off the bottom plate. Once the bottom plate is removed, make sure to disengage the lever spring to properly remove the lever arm, plastic retainer, cherry switch and wires. Finally, feed the touchless housing wires through the hole in the bottom plate, and feed the lever housing and ID panel wires through the valve cover opening to connect them to the valve.
Pro Tip: Be careful not to route the wires behind the valve. Instead, feed the lever housing wires through the opening left by the cherry switch.
To reattach the valve to your dispenser, start by connecting the red and green ID panel wires to the valve solenoid, and attach the touchless valve arm wires to the ID panel. Next, attach the valve to the backblock and connect the control board to the power dispenser. Then, place the valve cover back on and tighten the cover screws. Finally, reinstall the valve ID panel by sliding it down until it’s secure and you’re done!
